This is what wikipedia mention in the Lilith page:

"The figure in the relief was sometimes identified with Lilith, based on a misreading of an outdated translation of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Modern research has identified the figure as either Ishtar or Ereshkigal."

Strange, I've usually pictured this model to represent the demon Lilith rather than Ishtar. Maybe I'm mistaken...

That is a most impeccable hat she is wearing, no wonder Gilgamesh turned her down. I think, yes, this is the first recorded mythological character to menace the world with the threat of a zombie Apocalypse. Ladies and gentlemen, here we have her. You can blame her for the entire genre.
What is that she is holding, it seems somewhat familiar, sort of like the egyptian Anka.

I like the style/subject of the drawing! I'm actually working on a Gilgamesh project right now, I'd love it if you gave a look at my own take on the story and gave some feedback!
